Lucy’s fitness journey began in 1997 as a certified Group Fitness Instructor with the Athletics and Fitness Association of America teaching a variety of formats from step aerobics to cardio kickboxing. Her love of fitness and desire to help people get strong evolved into a career as a certified Personal Trainer in 2003 with the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Through years of continuing education and having children, she experienced and learned the importance of core strengthening by practicing Pilates. In 2006 she attained a Balanced Body Pilates Reformer Certification and pioneered Reformer small group training at her local gym under the guidance and direction of a Master Balanced Body Instructor. Lucy is also a certified Barre Above Instructor and enjoys combining athletic barre with contemporary Pilates exercises. She loves the energy and motivation of small group training and is passionate about helping individuals live life well!
