Erin earned her comprehensive certification through Peak Pilates in Austin, Texas in 2018 and immediately followed this with the completion of the Club Pilates Instructor Bridge Training. She was one of the first instructors hired on the ground floor opening of a Club Pilates studio in the Austin area and has been teaching 20 or more classes a week for Club Pilates since August 2018!
Erin absolutely loves her career teaching the fabulous practice of Pilates to Club Pilates members. As an instructor, she strives to share her passion for Pilates with students through effective and challenging workouts designed around the classical repertoires.
Erin has had a lifelong love for all forms of movement and athletics. She began with ballet, soccer, and softball as a youngster and progressed into hi gh school varsity athletics in basketball, track, and dance.
For a decade she worked hard in the gym on bodybuilding goals, but after signing up for a yoga class at the gym on “a lifting off day”, she began a consistent yoga practice that led to the earning of several teaching certifications at Yoga Yoga in Austin, Texas. She pulls from this yoga training background to build her flows for Center and Balance classes at Club Pilates.
In 2013, after taking an interest in the Pilates studio across the parking lot from Yoga. She took her first classical Pilates class at Joymoves in Austin, Texas and knew she had found the perfect movement practice blending low impact strength training and yoga’s body, mind, and breath connection for full body fitness in the practice reformer Pilates.
After a year of consistently practicing the challenging classical Pilates repertoires, she was thrilled with the noticeable results in her muscle and core strength, posture, and body awareness. Do Pilates! Do Life!
