Laura has been working out most of her life and has practiced many styles of fitness over the years. She got close to competing in body building (until discovering the strict diet required to compete), was a red belt in Tae Kwon Do, and dabbled in Tai Chi and Zumba. Having read about Joseph Pilates in the late 80’s, and the importance of finding a studio that focused on precision, she was always on the lookout for a place she felt she could trust. From the moment she took her intro class at Club Pilates Colleyville (3 months after it opened), she knew she was hooked. Having always had an interest in fitness, it seemed like a natural transition to become a Pilates Instructor. Inspired by the incredible instructors at Club Pilates Colleyville, Lauren hopes one day to inspire others to teach, or at the very least, fall in love with Pilates for life.
