I fell in love with Pilates back in 2020 when I started working on a reformer and exo chair with my personal trainer. I remember how different these apparatuses were compared to the ‘typical’ machines I was use to working out on at the gym, and I loved how they made you slow down and focus. Then I worked at the front desk of a studio and enrolled in their teacher training program, started teaching shortly after and it was very obvious this is where I belonged. I teach individuals from the ages of 16 to 82 and I think that says all it needs to say, this is for everyone. I’ve found that Pilates is the best form of exercise for my mind and body, and it has truly helped connect me better with myself in ways I didn’t think possible.
