Sharon Hylton brings to Club Pilates a passion for anatomy and injury prevention. Sharon was introduced to Pilates over a decade ago while recovering from a running injury. Working one-on-one with an instructor helped her understand and strengthen muscle imbalances. This experience sparked a new passion, and she went on to become a Pilates instructor, completing her mat and equipment certifications at Gramercy Pilates NYC in 2016 where she taught for four years. Sharon went on to complete the NYC Marathon in 2018 without injury, using Pilates as her main form of strength training. Since returning to NC in 2020, Sharon has been delighted to join the Club Pilates family. She loves helping clients of all ages and fitness levels understand the “why” behind the movements, so they can build a strong and balanced body. Sharon’s love of learning has led her to complete numerous continuing education workshops, including pre- and post-natal focus. With a background in design and animation, she has an eye for detail and a love of problem-solving and precision in movement.
