Christine
Christine has been teaching pilates since 2007. As a Massage Therapist she was very interested in the alignment aspects of classical Pilates as well as the emphasis on strengthening underutilized intrinsic muscles.
Christine’s approach to Pilates is very individualized taking into account your personal goals and needs, whether it be a Pilates workout or a session that addresses an injury.
Christine has completed over 675 hours of comprehensive Pilates education in the classical method of Pilates at the Align Teacher Training Program. Christine is qualified in all levels of the Pilates Method from introductory through advanced level exercises, on the mat, reformer, cadillac, low chair, ladder barrel, and the ped-o-pull.
Christine continued her training at The Pilates Center in Boulder, Colorado completing over 100 additional hours of continuing education training and has completed The Masters Program at The Pilates Center of Boulder. In addition to teaching Pilates, Christine is a seasoned Massage Therapist with over 25 years of experience and training in Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofascial Release, Orthopedic Massage, Neurokinetic Therapy and is a certified Human Movement Specialist through the Brookbush Institute.
When Christine is not teaching or practicing bodywork, she enjoys hiking, reading, listening to music and spending time with her French Bulldog, Coco.
