Kenzie C.

Kenzie was been teaching Pilates since 2018. She received a B.F.A in Theater from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, as well as a Masters of Science in Applied Psychology from the University of Soutbern California. Kenzie discovered Pilates while in physical therapy for hypermobility and a connective tissue disorder. After years of looking for relief, Pilates provided her a safe way to strengthen without pain, lengthen without hyperextension, and increase proprioception. In her Pilates classes, she incorporates her knowledge and training in Alexander Technique, Laban Movement Analysis, Fitzmaurice Voicework, and Adult Learning Theory. She received her 600 hour-all apparatus certification through CorePilates NYC and Speir Pilates in Los Angeles. Kenzie’s classes are known for being challenging but accessible, athletic but grounded in classical technique; and she’s always got a fun playlist for a good time!
