Sam began dancing at age 3, and hasn't stopped moving since! Now, as a mindful movement professional she specializes in mat Pilates, traditional reformer method, and even teaches Lagree Pilates. She also teaches barre, TRX, HIIT, Kettlebells and straight up strength training. Sam's teaching technique makes functional training fun by combining her creativity and science based athletic training with a decade of experience teaching group classes, private training, virtual sessions and creating content for some big names in the fitness world. Sam successfully treated her own broken back in just 2 weeks, after a triple disc compression and lumbar to sacral stress fracture. She's rehabilitated clients after hip replacements, knee surgeries, broken feet and serious shoulder injuries..including past procedures that hadn't healed properly. Sam's application of the Pilates method has even prevented her clients from some major injuries and invasive procedures they had been faced with. She's worked with several women during (up until the day of!) and after pregnancy, helped to enhance performance in her athlete clients and inspired her tribe to live more functional and less painful lives with reduced risk on injury and more confidence in the resilience of the human body. She's developed and led teacher training programs, taught continuing education courses, and been published in Women's Health Magazine as well as Cosmopolitan.
