Hello fellow Pilates friends - I’m Krista Lander! I was a collegiate volleyball player and a lifelong athlete who has always loved staying fit and active. I was finding it increasingly challenging after having kids and dealing with nagging pain in my back and knee from repetitive running to stay active. I started Pilates several years ago in search of an activity that would alleviate some of my pain, and felt so good after my first few classes! I fell in love with Pilates shortly after and knew that teaching something I believed in would be the right path for me! I also knew that as a military family who frequently moves, this work would move easily with me. I learned through the training process how crucial core strength and spinal health are in keeping the rest of the body feeling good. My mission as an instructor is to provide high-quality, interesting classes that stay true to Pilates principles and to keep clients bodies and minds safely engaged and challenged. Pilates has been a blessing to me and I hope it is for you!
