Rachel G.
Instructor
Rachel is from Austin TX, Rachel grew up swimming, biking, and playing sports year round in the hot climate of central Texas. Rachel is a two-time cancer survivor who initially came to Club Pilates to help with rehabilitation after treatment. She found the strength, mobility, and mind-body results to be so profound that she ultimately decided, following her second cancer diagnosis, to become an instructor and help others discover the powerful benefits of Pilates, including strength, control, grace and mobility. Rachel has a special affinity for helping cancer patients and survivors recover from treatment, but really enjoys helping people from all backgrounds reach their physical potential and find joy in movement and fitness. Rachel received her comprehensive 500-hour teaching certification from The Lab in Chicago, and returned to teach at Club Pilates because of a love for the upbeat, energetic classes and friendly, inclusive community. When not in the studio, she loves spending time traveling and exploring with her husband, wonderful teenage daughter, and her beloved dog Benvolio.
