I have been a lover of movement and fitness since a very young age when I started ballet classes at six years old. After sticking with ballet, I discovered Reformer and mat Pilates in my high school years as a way of cross-training to keep myself limber and strong to prevent injuries. I fell in love instantly with the mind-body connection Pilates offers and the creativity of movement it allows you to experience. After highschool, I moved to New York City, aka "The Big Apple". I earned the wonderful opportunity to train at the Joffrey Ballet School for two years and experience New York City to its fullest. I then was hired by the Ballet Theatre of Maryland in Annapolis, Maryland. I fulfilled my dreams of dancing with a professional company. Due to surgery, I had to make a career choice and give up dance. I truly rediscovered my love for Pilates and began taking classes at my local Club Pilates studio. I soon after decided to take on the teacher training course and a short six months later I was in the studio teaching my first full class. I enjoy the creativity I have when putting together classes and having the ability to truly help someone feel better about themselves physically and mentally. I look forward to the continued growth personally and to sharing my knowledge of the body that I have obtained
from my dance background.
