Kate first practiced Pilates 20 years ago as a guinea pig for her college dance teacher, who was earning his certification. She walked into Club Pilates on a whim, thinking she was buying a membership and some cute socks. What she actually found was community, a new respect for her own strength, and workouts that struck just the right balance between challenging and fun. As an experienced yoga instructor, Kate brings a deep appreciation of breathwork, the mind-body connection, and the importance of joy to her classes. When she isn't teaching, she's probably cuddling an animal, fostering an animal, or trying to convince her husband they need more animals. Kate is a voracious reader, an intrepid traveler, and has an irrational fear of mushrooms.
