Mandy found fitness when she decided to put herself first so she could be a healthier
version of herself for her family. She gravitated towards HIIT style workouts in the
beginning as they incorporate strength training together with cardio and allowed her to
regain strength, stamina, and lose some unwanted baby weight. It was through the HIIT
workouts that Mandy found a love for fitness. Diagnosed with POTS in 2011, Mandy’s
condition is managed through diet and exercise. She fell in love with Reformer Pilates in
early 2023 when she realized the benefits of resistance training and how Pilates really
puts an emphasis on the mind/body connection. It was then that Mandy decided she
wanted to teach and share the benefits of Pilates with others. Mandy completed her studies to become a Certified Pilates Instructor and Yoga certification in 2024.
