Lisa Reeves

Certified Pilates Instructor
Hello! I am Lisa Reeves and was first introduced to Pilates in 2017 after being diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease that compromised my lungs and breathing, in addition to having mild degenerative disc disease. After struggling with running outdoors and trying to do cardio at the gym, I turned to Pilates as a way to stay active and strengthen my body. Pilates afforded me the ability to strengthen my body in a gentle low impact way while learning how to connect my mind to my body and engage the proper muscles through control and breathing. Amazed and impressed at how my body and breathing began to change in a short period of time, I was hooked. I graduated from DePaul University in Chicago and spent over 25 years in the corporate world. I moved to Scottsdale in 2019, and while working remote during “quarantine,” decided to pursue my passion of Pilates and help others in similar situations achieve their fitness goals. I took a chance and left the corporate world to devote my life to a career in Pilates. I am certified through Pilates Sports Center and look forward to meeting you in class!
