Marnie Marx
Instructor
Marnie discovered fitness at an early age while pursuing a
ballet career. After hanging up her pointe shoes, she owned a
dance studio in Houston while still actively involved in the
fitness community. She became certified as an A.C.E. personal
trainer, AFAA Fitness Instructor and Madd Dog Spinning Coach.
Putting ballet behind her, Marnie discovered and fell in love
with the physical healing powers of Pilates and the
concentration of mind/body. She became a certified Stott
Pilates instructor concentrating on mat work. Her solid mat
foundation led her to obtain teaching certifications in
Functional Movement and Cycling through the Parkinson’s
Foundation and The American Arthritis Foundation. Marnie
brings 30 years of extensive mat training to Club Pilates. She is
convinced that Pilates is the fountain of youth with the intense
focus on core strength, posture and functional movements. Her
outgoing attitude and the integration of her knowledge of
dance, fitness and movement make for a unique and fun studio
experience.
