Courtney Bassett
Instructor
Courtney, who grew up in Columbus, became interested in Reformer Pilates when she took an intro class at Club Pilates Dublin. She fell in love with the low-impact, full-body workout! Years later, she still enjoys the mental concentration it requires and the physical challenges it presents. Every time she leaves a Pilates class, she feels invigorated and reaffirms her belief in all the benefits Reformer Pilates provides!
After attending classes for a year, she enrolled in the Club Pilate Teacher Training program to help others to reap the same rewards from Pilates! She completed her apprentice certification and started instructing in 2023. She is working towards her comprehensive certification.
Courtney has worked 30+ years for Hilliard City Schools where she is currently teaching 2nd graders. Outside of work, she takes walks around the neighborhood and visit her family members with her golden retriever! Her greatest joy is her daughter, Sadie, who is also Club Pilates team member! In her free time, she enjoys knitting and watching movies, traveling, attending live shows and fixing up old furniture!
Courtney is thankful to be a member of the Club Pilates community as the owners, master trainers and team members have been encouraging and supportive. Club Pilates helps to bring out the best in her and she is looking to teach Pilates more in the future!
