In my youth, I was encouraged to do some sort of activity—playing various sports, swimming, horseback riding, and dancing for 18 years. Alongside that passion, I always loved being in the kitchen with my Italian grandmas. Cooking was creative, comforting, and expressive for me long before I understood how powerful nutrition could be. In 1997, when I made the life changing decision to undergo weight loss surgery, that love for cooking evolved into something more—nutrition became another true passion and an essential part of my wellness journey. I quickly learned an important truth: surgery wasn’t the finish line—it was the starting block. Fitness, paired with mindful nutrition, became my foundation. Together, they taught me discipline, resilience, and the importance of consistency. I discovered that real, lasting change doesn’t come from quick fixes, but from daily choices and a willingness to keep showing up. As times have changed along with my body, I needed to find a fitness routine that not only supported my body but was kind. That’s when I found Pilates. In 2025, I became a member of Club Pilates and shortly after decided to have a career shift. That is when I enrolled in Club Pilates Comprehensive teacher training. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management, an MBA, Comprehensive Pilates certification, and TRX Pilates certification. Today, my journey reflects decades of dedication and perseverance. It’s not defined by one moment, but by a lifetime of intentional choices fueled by movement, nourishment, and joy. My story is proof that transformation is built over time—and I want to share and encourage others.
