Stephanie is a lifelong health and wellness advocate who believes in a holistic approach to life by creating wellness, strength, mobility, resiliency and joy inside and out. She strongly believes issues are in our tissues and movement can help the mind to enhance movement! After being a former soccer player and avid runner, numerous injuries led her to Pilates and yoga and been practicing Pilates since the 1980s. In 2004, Stephanie obtained her mat and apparatus Pilates certification from Polestar. She joined Club Pilates as an instructor in 2023 and has an empowering teaching style offering options to modify throughout her classes and loves watching people grow in their practice! Stephanie has taught Lagree since 2013 and holds other certifications in Power Plate, Spin, Barre, Sport Yoga, Zumba and Ayurveda. Additionally, she has been a longtime Transcendental Meditation practitioner since 2009, Trance Dance practitioner since 2017 and working on learning qigong/taichi. When Stephanie is not teaching or taking classes, you can find her hanging out with her son and his fiancée or doing real estate. Even on vacation…she misses Pilates and takes classes if offered! A true movement addict currently obsessed with myofascial releases and the lymphatic system! Her favorite Pilates exercise is pike on the chair for the deep core, inversion and whole-body activation! Teaching for Club Pilates is her true happy place!
