Andrea Fowler knows first-hand about the healing nature of Pilates. She started taking reformer-based classes more than 10 years ago and noticed immediate benefits in her body including increased strength and flexibility. Her love for Pilates increased and was transformed into a passion for teaching through personal injury. Andrea had taken a break from Pilates and was training for a half marathon when she suffered two herniated disks and a torn labrum in her hip. She was fortunate to have a physical therapist who incorporated reformer-based Pilates into her rehab. Through this rehabilitation she experienced healing and freedom from the pain of her injuries.
Andrea received a Peak Pilates level 3 comprehensive certification and is also certified in Trigger Point Therapy. She regularly participates in local workshops to further her training and expertise. She enjoys volunteering at assisted living establishments and teaches Pilates to individuals in wheelchairs. She has a warm welcoming nature and enjoys the opportunity of getting to know new members in the Club Pilates community.
