Cyndi completed the 500-hour Club Pilates Teacher Training in 2024 and has been teaching at multiple studios since that time. Cyndi was drawn to Pilates as it is truly for “every” body and she strives to cultivate a safe and comfortable learning environment for all. Cyndi is originally from Janesville, Wisconsin and has lived in Hudson, Ohio for 15 years where she raised 3 of her 4 children who range from ages 18-36. Cyndi also holds a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is a Professor at Cleveland State University where she also serves as the Director of the Master of Social Work program and as Principal Investigator on several grants throughout the years. When not teaching Pilates or writing on issues related to end-of-life care, grief, loss and bereavement, aging, dementia and interprofessional education, Cyndi is spending time with her husband, 4 adult kids, grandson, 2 dogs and 1 cat. She appreciates good books, meaningful conversation, traveling, and quality time with friends and family.
