Hi, I’m Carla, It was such an honour to join the Club Pilates family as an instructor in Fall 2025! Pilates is the first method of movement that didn’t feel like a “chore”, but instead a real connection to my body. And I fell in love with it! My teaching blends classical and contemporary Pilates, shaped by my training through Club Pilates and learning from some truly exceptional instructors along the way. One of my favourite Pilates principles is control— if you’re in my class, you won’t have enough fingers to count how many times I say, “slow it doooown” (it might be annoying at first, but I promise there’s gold in the slow control). It is impossible to pick a favourite exercise, but I will never say no to a side-lying glutes series or a spicy set of lunges! With a background in Science and Psychology, I’m fascinated by the mind–body connection and how intentional movement can support both physical strength and mental clarity. My goal is to help clients feel connected, supported, and confident in their practice, meeting you where ever you’re at!
