Annette H.
Pilates Instructor
Annette’s journey with Pilates began nearly 25 years ago, in one of the most challenging seasons of her life. At just 23, she was diagnosed with degenerative disc disease — a condition so debilitating that she became bedridden and unable to walk. It was a doctor’s recommendation to try Pilates alongside physical therapy that changed everything. Slowly but surely, Annette began to rebuild her strength, mobility, and hope.
Over the years, she has courageously faced two back surgeries, including a spinal fusion, and has lost — and regained — the ability to walk three times. Through it all, Pilates has remained her anchor. It’s helped her strengthen her spine, improve her posture, and reclaim her life again and again.
Today, Annette is deeply grateful to be on the other side of that struggle — not only moving with strength and confidence, but now sharing her passion for Pilates with others. Her goal as an instructor is to empower members on their own journey to healing, strength, and resilience, no matter where they’re starting from.
Outside the studio, Annette is a proud mom who cherishes weekends spent at the farm with her family — their favorite place to relax, recharge, and reconnect.
