Fitness has always been a part of Karen’s lifestyle. She was a collegiate swimmer and is currently a master swimmer. She has a daily yoga practice. She also enjoys biking, hiking and playing golf with her husband, Tom. She discovered Pilates several years ago at a local YMCA and was hooked. When Karen retired in 2018 from a thirty-six-year career in corporate finance for technology companies in Silicon Valley, she went “back to school” and became an ACE Certified Group Fitness Instructor and Certified Pilates Instructor. She offers both group and private instruction. She enjoys working with athletes of any age and ability to help them “up their game” by incorporating Pilates into their fitness routine. Her clients say that she brings positive energy, creativity and a love of Pilates to each class.
