As a dancer, Clarrisa was required to take Pilates growing up. She rejoined the community as she grew a deeper appreciation for movement and the benefits Pilates has. She began teaching Pilates in the summer of 2024 mainly teaching mat classes infused with dance cardio. To her, movement is freedom and Pilates is a great way to either amplify your athletic ability or provide the core strength needed for basic everyday activities. She loves how Pilates challenges you to strengthen imbalances which requires one to connect with your mind, body, and breath. It’s extremely rewarding to feel aligned and energized after class. Working with a vast range of people of all ages and backgrounds has opened her heart to a ton of empathy and compassion for others. When she's not teaching Pilates I’m either teaching dance/ acro, professionally performing, strength training, or emceeing a gig. In her classes, expect a ton of energy, bubbliness, and fun!
