Erika started practicing Pilates sometime in 2022, simply enjoying the classes and how they made her feel. As a former volleyball player with a few years of dance experience, she has always been drawn to movement. But Pilates stood out — the way her body felt after each session was completely different from what she experienced with traditional strength training. As she approached her senior year of college, Erika knew she wanted something meaningful to pursue during her gap year. She wanted to invest her time and energy into something that still resonated with her — something that felt aligned. Pilates was exactly that. What inspired her most was how inclusive the practice is — not focused solely on physical transformation, but on mental well-being as well. Over time, Erika has developed a style that blends her strength training background with core Pilates principles. In her classes, students can expect a workout that’s both challenging and safe — one that helps them feel like they’re making real progress in their practice.
