Lizette helps members find the joy of movement through Pilates. Originally from Brooklyn, New York, she became certified in 2002 in Comprehensive Pilates through the PhysicalMind Institute. With a degree in Health, Healing and Well-Being and certifications in Yoga (RYT500) and Well-Being Coaching, Lizette plans, researches, creates, and implements programs for individuals, groups, and special populations. As a researcher and mindful-movement professional in the wellness sphere, Lizette is confident that every one of us can experience greater health and well-being when we focus on physically strengthening, stretching, toning, and balancing while breathing thoughtfully – intrinsic activities in Pilates. She will empower and motivate you to access your vitality so that achieving your wellness goals becomes a joy, not a series of unattainable obstacles. Lizette loves how Club Pilates Lorton focuses on Pilates for every body, embracing the community’s diversity. She especially loves the variety of exercises, unique instructor backgrounds, and wellness events.
