Cayla has always been an athlete and has participated in a number of sports throughout her life. She was a member of the women’s golf team while a student at Transylvania University, which peaked Cayla’s interest in various cross training methods to progress her game and stay fit in the off season. She quickly learned that a Pilates practice is what makes her body feel its very best, whether she is on the golf course or sitting at a desk for hours at a time.
Cayla became very interested in Pilates because of its ability to lengthen and strengthen muscles in a safe and healthy way for all bodies. She is amazed at the fast progress in the tone of her muscles, but she is even more impressed at Pilates ability to alleviate pain in her back and neck muscles. While Cayla was in Louisville for law school, she participated in the Club Pilates Teacher Training Program where she was trained extensively under the Club Pilates method. Cayla enjoys teaching with the classical Pilates method as her foundation, while also incorporating more athletic work with the barre, chair, and springboard.
