Melissa had a passion for dance from a young age and started her training with Harvey Hysell in New Orleans. She continued dancing for many years abroad and at university, competing in Russia in 1992. Her love of movement and the desire to help others led her to discover Pilates. Since starting her training in Australia in 2014 she has accrued a wealth of knowledge and experience. Melissa is fully certified in STOTT PILATES® and Total Barre™ and has been teaching for 10 years, joining the Club Pilates team in December 2021. Her background in dance gives her a unique understanding of body mechanics and alignment, which she incorporates into her teaching. Melissa's classes are known for their precision, grace, and attention to detail. She has a keen eye for helping her students improve their posture, strength, and flexibility. Her warm and nurturing personality creates a supportive environment in the studio, and students feel encouraged to challenge themselves and achieve their fitness goals.
