Shea

Shea

Instructor
Shea began doing Pilates about 4 years ago after being diagnosed with a genetic condition called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS). Among other things, EDS affects the connective tissues in the body and can cause widespread pain. This is due to laxity in joints, and back pain from a weakened core. Pilates has helped Shea keep her symptoms in check and has given her back her quality of life. She fell so deeply in love with what pilates has done for her that she even decided to become an instructor through the Club Pilates Teacher Training Program in 2021. Her goal as an instructor is to help others feel better, grow stronger & become more confident in their own skin. When she's not teaching, Shea loves spending time with her husband and daughter, crafting, and spoiling her 2 rescue dogs.
