Tish was born and raised in Memphis. She is a Mother, Pilates instructor, and passionate mental health advocate. Tish’s mission is to make wellness both realistic and accessible—helping others feel better about themselves and breaking down the barriers that often make health and fitness feel intimidating. Her love for Pilates grew during her postpartum journey, especially after experiencing diastasis recti with her second child. She longed for something that would help her feel like herself again—and Pilates did exactly that. Beyond the physical transformation, it brought mental clarity, healing, and a deepened connection to her body. Having faced her own mental health challenges as a young adult, Tish knows first-hand the power of the mind-body connection. Pilates not only strengthens the body but also fosters discipline, confidence, and self-awareness. Her goal is to help others experience this transformative practice and build a deeper relationship with their own well-being. After losing her mother and sister to unexpected health-related issues, her passion for preventative wellness grew even stronger. She is committed to giving back to her community, helping others heal, and showing them that a healthy, balanced life is possible—and it’s never too late to begin. Tish currently teaches Mat and Reformer Pilates. She was recently named one of Memphis Health + Fitness Magazine’s “20 Under 40” for 2025, recognizing her impact on wellness and her community. A quote she lives by is from Joseph Pilates: “In 10 sessions, you will feel the difference. In 20, you will see the difference.
