I am so grateful for the opportunity to teach at Club Pilates Mill Creek Plaza. I began my Pilates journey in 2012, opening a studio in Ballard. Though the space is no longer open, I was blessed to have a space to learn what Pilates had for my life. As an athlete throughout my life I suffered many injuries. I was able to gain strength through Pilates that I thought I would never have again. My experience as a client and partner of a successful studio led me to become a Fletcher Pilates teacher. I completed my comprehensive program in 2016. Being a Fletcher Pilates teacher helped me in all my sports and led me into dance. Though unconventional, Pilates gave me the confidence to experience ballet, modern dance, hip hop and The Martha Graham Technique. My love for Pilates deepened with opportunities to work with so many great people throughout the Pilates community and experiencing their confidence and movement quality improvements. Pilates is healing and I love being able to give people something that can help them in their lives. This work we do is fuel for the body and soul. I look forward to having the opportunity to work with the many clients of Club Pilates Mill Creek Plaza. I grew up in the Lynnwood area so this opportunity to work with those in the Mill Creek community is a special honor for me.
