Raquel Glasser

Instructor

Raquel was born and raised in San Diego, California, and began dancing at the age of three. She took her dancing career more seriously while she attended the Royal Dance Academy in San Diego and studied the RAD Ballet curriculum from pre-primary to advanced. At the age of 13, she moved to Orange County and lived with her grandparents to attend The Orange County School of the Arts. She trained at West Coast School Of The Arts (OCSA) and worked with many well known artists, such as Marguerite Derricks, Stacey Tookey, Tyce Diorio, Brian Friedman, Lex Ishimoto, keone and Mari, and more. In addition to dancing, Raquel also has a strong passion for singing. Raquel sang as a back up vocalist for Snoop Dogg and performed twice with him on the Conan O’Brian and Katie Couric show. She also performed as a dancer for Isabela Moner at her Nickelodeon event. After high school, Raquel was accepted into the University of Arizona prestigious dance school with a talent and academic scholarship. She was awarded the Medici scholarship award three years in a row for the most talented/gifted student. Raquel found her love for nutrition and fitness at the University of Arizona, where she was offered a scholarship to join the Fletcher Pilates Teacher Training Program. She studied under the Ron Fletcher Program in Tucson Arizona and decided to continue with Pilates as a career. She is fascinated with how the pilates transformed her mind and body connection and wants to share that with others. After graduating with Summa Cum Laude from the University of Arizona, she was hired immediately as a teacher and choreographer for various dance studios and high schools in San Diego. She also decided to join the Club Pilates teacher training program as she has always loved the atmosphere at Club Pilates and going with her mom when she was younger. She was signed by Go 2 Talent Agency and relocated to Los Angeles, California in August, 2022. She is currently pursuing her Professional Pilates and Dance career in LA, teaching group and Private Pilates classes Equinox, Hollywood, and Club Pilates, while auditioning for various Professional Dance opportunities.
