Debbie Franek

Instructor
In 2017, Debbie and her husband traded the Florida coast for the Tennessee mountains, marking the beginning of a transformative new chapter. After a 25-year career homeschooling her children, Debbie leaned into her lifelong passion for natural health. Her dedication to movement is rooted in a profound personal experience. Watching her son navigate the trauma of Guillain-Barré Syndrome, she stood by him as he moved from total paralysis to a full, vibrant recovery. This witness to the body's resilience inspired her to expand her holistic practice—which began in aromatherapy, birth doula, and biblical health coaching—to include Pilates and Yoga. She now creates a studio environment where students feel safe and successful, fueled by her conviction that no matter the starting point, the body is designed for restoration. Debbie believes lasting freedom requires a whole-person approach to health—engaging the body, mind, and spirit at once. Pilates provides the perfect solution. It is a "moving meditation" that bridges physical exertion and inner stillness. By shifting from external performance to internal sensations, she integrates the core principles of concentration, control, centering, precision, fluidity, and breath, creating a restorative harmony that honors your entire being. A wife of 38 years and grandmother to nine, she balances her professional passion with finding her own "whole-person" balance through writing, painting, and exploring the outdoors via kayak or hiking trail.
