Jill got her start in fitness tagging along to her mom’s aerobics classes at the “Y” and watching her dad do yoga next to Lake Harriet in Minneapolis. From them, she learned how important it is to have fun while staying fit— this is what she brings to every class at Club Pilates and beyond! Jill has been a fitness professional for 30+ years teaching a bit of everything. Her fitness career began after moving to Ohio with a group fitness certification from AFAA, then certifications in kickboxing, cycling, ACE personal training, along with her 200-hour yoga teacher training. Pilates has been a natural progression and joined the Club Pilates team in 2020. She loves Pilates because it offers a full body workout that is challenging without adding stress on your joints, which means that it can be enjoyed at any age. When she’s not teaching, she’s likely to be planning her next beach vacation or out feeding some stray cats.
