A Native of Harlem, New York City, a Graduate of LaGuardia High School of Music and Art, and Graduate of The College of New Rochelle in Liberal Arts.
My fitness journey began with Group Exercise classes and became a NASM Certified Fitness Instructor in 2011 teaching Les Mills programming, BodyJam, BodyPump and BodyVive.
Becoming interested in Aquatics in 2013 I received Certifications from the Aquatic Exercise Association in Arthritis, American Sports and Fitness in Aquatic for Special Populations, Hydrorider for Aquatic Cycling.
I am a Personal Trainer through International Sports Science Association since 2019 and train clients in functional training and Adult Daily Living Skills. I am a professor at Montgomery College teaching Gentle Water Fitness, Improving Balance and Fall Prevention.
I became certified in Mat Pilates through Peak Pilates in April 2020. Currently teach Mat Pilates, Qigong and Aqua Aerobics at the YMCA Bethesda-Chevy and Montgomery College Wellness Program for Staff and Retirees. After seeing TRX at Club Pilates I went to a training in 2023.
I hope to encourage others in their fitness journey.
