I never enjoyed sports growing up. I always found it too intense and stressful. I dabbled in a lot of different types of activities to keep fit like CrossFit, tennis but nothing ever really stuck. I found mat Pilates by accident and I was hooked. I loved that it brought a slower pace to exercise and a mindfulness, letting me develop a deeper awareness of my body for the first time. It helped me decompress after long and stressful days at work, making me feel stronger and more confident. I signed up for the teacher training course to deepen my knowledge of the practice and I’m now trying to bring my love of Pilates to others as an instructor with Club Pilates.
