Tabi W.
Instructor
Tabi is an NPCP-Certified Pilates instructor and has worked with clients throughout Marin and Sonoma counties. She is honored to be a Club Pilates team member and to bring her approach of contemporary fusion with classical practice through functional and intelligent movement. Her classes focus on neuromuscular and biomechanical techniques to encourage clients to challenge their personal limits to develop their coordination, balance, and strength via functional, fusion Pilates.
In addition to creating dynamic and versatile flows with fun and engaging cues, she also educates clients on the rationale to the anatomical, physiological, and the physics behind the movements she teaches. She utilizes this academic approach to ensure that individuals with specific needs and special considerations are able to find success with their experience. Whether it is facilitating athletic goals like the specific foci for golf, racquet sports, cycling, or running, or assisting clients in group and private sessions with myriad exigencies, ranging from orthopedic conditions like osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, scoliosis, and spinal fusions or bulging discs to neuromuscular conditions, such as frozen shoulder, multiple sclerosis, radiculopathies, and neuropathies, to special considerations needed for pre- and post-natal clients or re-introducing exercise post-joint replacement or after surgery, Tabi finds creative movements and modifications to make Pilates an engaging, therapeutic, and fruitful experience for anyone!
