Sarah began her athletic career at a young age. Her passion for movement and fitness motivated her to earn a BS in Exercise Physiology from the University of Dayton, a MS in physical education from Elmhurst College and a PT certification from the ACSM. As an athlete and overall fitness “nut”, Sarah discovered Pilates as a way to stay injury free, build uniform strength and find balance. In 2012, Sarah became a certified Pilates instructor through BASI with additional training in pre/post natal exercise (Pregnancy and Postpartum exercise specialist). Sarah combines her knowledge of exercise science and bio mechanics to create a Pilates program that caters to each individual client, from beginners to accomplished athletes. Sarah feels that the most rewarding part of teaching Pilates is watching her clients start to move better by eliminating pain, strengthening weaknesses and improving overall performance.
