Malorie discovered Pilates in 2014 when her friend opened a custom fitness studio that incorporated Pilates movements. She fell in love with the practice after having a baby and realizing her previous routine no longer fit her post-natal body. Pilates allowed her to reinvent her work out, reverse postural issues caused by nursing, and strengthen her entire body.
Malorie has BA in Biology from ASU. She worked as a nurse at Porterville Hospital in 2018, then at a plasma donation company as a center medical staff nurse. In 2019 she moved to the central coast where she met her husband. She was pregnant with her son as the world sunk into COVID in 2020. After working through the pandemic with a new baby and so much uncertainty she decided to make a career change. She wanted to stay in health and wellness and that is when she found Club Pilates. The rest is history!
Malorie received her Comprehensive Certification as a Pilates Instructor through Club Pilates and her teaching style is athletic fused with traditional. Her favorite exercises are Long Spine and Mermaid. When she is not in the studio Malorie enjoys hiking, surfing, mountain biking, paddle boarding and traveling.
