Terri A.
Instructor
Terri found Pilates more than 20 years ago and quickly realized that Pilates, more than any other form of exercise, kept her back pain free and healthy after surgery. Ten years ago, she chose to become an instructor to pass on the benefits of Pilates to others. Her goal is to educate clients about how Pilates assists in recovery from injuries and keeps their bodies healthy and fit to prevent future injuries. Terri is comprehensively trained in Mat Pilates and all Pilates equipment through Balanced Body. She is also a Balanced Body Barre Instructor, a Bohdi Instructor (the Balanced Body version of TRX) and a MOTR Instructor (a portable version of the reformer). She has additional training from Pilates Sports Center, Pilates ProWorks, Franklin Method, and Club Pilates. She continues her education through workshops, classes and seminars. In her years of teaching, she has worked with clients from ages 15 to 80, teaching Private instruction and group classes and believes Pilates offers something for every age and body.
Terri has 3 adult children, a husband and two adorable dogs. When she is not teaching or hanging out with her family and dogs, she spends her time doing dog rescue.
