A former athlete, Kelly was introduced to Pilates after the birth of her third child. Having had long term back problems, she found that within six weeks of Pilates classes, it was gone. Not only was her back pain gone, but her legs were leaner, posture improved, waist slimmer, and golf game got better. After noticing the changes that Pilates made to her body, Kelly pursued her Pilates certification through STOTT and completed it after 2 years of training including advanced mat, reformer and special populations. She has been teaching Pilates for over 15 years and joined the Club Pilates team as an instructor in 2019. Kelly holds over 30 health and wellness certifications! These include but are not limited to NASM PT, SDSU PT, Pilates Suspension Method 1 and 2, Pilates for Golf and Tennis, TRX, Barre, Yoga, group fitness, corrective exercise, sports performance, senior fitness, special populations, precision nutrition coach, and bodywork. She is working towards a Functional Movement Specialist certification. Given her extensive experience and expertise, Kelly has worked with professional athletes (basketball, football, hockey and Olympic), The Real Housewives of New Jersey (Melissa Gorga and Kathy Wakile) and special populations with knee and hip replacements, back injuries and incomplete paraplegics. When Kelly isn’t teaching, you can find her with her husband Mark, five kids, granddaughter, and three dogs traveling, reading, getting her dance on, playing games, and of course, exercising and more.
