Carly Palminteri

Instructor
Carly first discovered her love for Pilates in 2009 while attending Loyola Marymount University. During her time as an undergrad in the dance program, Carly regularly frequented the private Pilates studio on campus that was only available to those in her department. In doing so, she soon learned just how important the modality was not only for her body, but for her dance training, as well. With the combination of Pilates and her dance technique classes, Carly not only gained strength and length in her muscles, but she also increased her flexibility, and she knew Pilates was something she could never live without. After graduating from LMU in just three years, Carly went on to get a job with a touring dance company called Tremaine Dance Conventions. While touring, Carly still found time to take Pilates classes at various studios in Los Angeles, but it wasn't until her first class at Club Pilates Villa Park in October 2015, that she knew she wanted to take her passion for Pilates a step further. Soon after her awesome experience at Club Pilates, Carly quit her job on tour and enrolled in the Club Pilates 500 hour teacher training program in January 2016. After just 3 months, Carly tested out of the program and began her teaching career in March 2016. As the years progressed, Carly taught at three different Club Pilates locations in both Los Angeles and Orange County, as well as two locations in Colorado. In August 2017, Carly moved to New York City where she worked as a Pilates Manager for Equinox. Here she focused her Pilates training entirely on teaching private sessions and running the Pilates department. After leaving NYC, Carly moved to Nashville, where she taught at 5 Club Pilates locations and became the Lead Instructor at North Gulch. Carly just moved to Austin in June 2022 to experience life in Texas. She is absolutely thrilled to be here and is so excited to continue teaching and sharing her love for Pilates!
