With a career spanning senior executive roles such as CMO, CCO and Managing Partner, with companies like Coca-Cola, Calgary Municipal Land Corporation and Triple 5 Corporation, Susan is a dedicated and passionate community builder. In 2019, she launched honeycomb solutions – a consultancy focused on land development, placemaking and community building through public engagement, strategic planning and branding.
Near and dear to her heart, however, is sport and recreation and a pursuit of health and wellness. Alongside her corporate endeavors, Susan has contributed to various sporting events, including attracting the 2021 Track and Field Games to Canada, serving as a liaison on the Pan Am Games in 1999, and playing an executive role in Calgary's bid to host the 2026 Olympic Winter Games. Next year, she plans to volunteer for the 2025 Invictus Games in Whistler.
With her recent certification as a Club Pilates instructor, Susan realized a personal goal of blending her passion for community building with her love of health and recreation.
Raised on Canada's east coast amidst stunning landscapes within a bustling family of 10, Susan finds solace and inspiration in nature. Accompanied by her loyal Bernese mountain dog, Gracie, she finds her best class flows and program ideas come from her outdoor activities.
