I first discovered Pilates in the early 2000s and was immediately drawn to both the dynamic reformer workouts and the simplicity of mat exercises. As an avid tennis player since my 20s, movement has always been an essential part of my life. Staying active kept me grounded—but over the years, the physical toll of injuries began to catch up with me.
In 2022, I returned to reformer Pilates at Club Pilates with a clear goal: to build upper body strength and improve my balance. What began as a way to support and care for my body quickly turned into a true passion. I was amazed by the transformation I felt, especially in my core strength and overall stability.
Pilates wasn’t just helping me recover—it was helping me thrive.
Inspired by these changes, I enrolled in the Club Pilates Teacher Training program in 2023. That experience was nothing short of life-changing. It deepened my understanding of the Pilates method and strengthened my commitment to wellness—not just for myself, but for others as well.
After working in another career for over 25 years, I knew I wanted to transition into something more meaningful—something that allowed me to support others in their health and wellness, especially as they age. Becoming a certified Pilates instructor has given me the opportunity to do just that.
Today, I continue to grow both as a teacher and a student. My journey with Pilates is ongoing, and I’m grateful every day to be able to share its many benefits while continuing to learn and evolve in my own practice.
