Gabby was first introduced to Pilates in 8th grade by one of her dance instructors, who used many of the exercises in the conditioning portions of class. She completed her comprehensive training through Club Pilates Teacher Training in 2018. Prior to discovering Club Pilates, Gabby had earned her BA in Exercise Science and Youth Ministry at Hope College in 2015. Gabby began her fitness career in Zumba and has taught a wide variety of styles, including barre, HIIT, bootcamp, and tabata, in addition to being an ACE-certified Personal Trainer. She has studied and trained in the Trauma Informed Approach and earned her Holy Yoga 200-hour certification in January of 2022. It has always been Gabby's mission to make exercise and fitness a fun, positive, uplifting experience. She believes in building strength over achieving a body size or type and desires to see all of her class members and clients build self-efficacy (the belief that they are capable).
