Alaina started her career in health and wellness as a certified Athletic trainer. Having received her Master’s in Nutrition from Northeastern University she made the switch to personal training as a certified strength and conditioning specialist (NSCA-CSCS). It was through an unfortunate low back injury that Alaina discovered Pilates for herself. The balance, stability, and body awareness Pilates gave her was the perfect compliment to her strength training. Realizing what a pivotal tool Pilates could be for injury care and prevention as well as a tool in increasing physical performance, Alaina pursued training in Mat and Reformer through STOTT Pilates. With her background in athletic training, she has taught a wide range of clientele from those seeking sports performance, to injured populations, to anyone looking to just feel better and more in tune with their body. She loves sharing her passion for health and wellness with everyone!
Additional certifications include: TRX Suspension trainer, kettlebells, pre/post-natal, USA weightlifting, and Precision Nutrition.
