My Pilates journey began in the most personal of places — recovery. After undergoing two major abdominal surgeries, I found myself struggling to return to the active lifestyle I loved. Cardio and weight training felt out of reach as I worked to rebuild the core strength I had lost, and I needed something that would meet me exactly where I was.
Pilates did just that. I started slowly in Level 1, taking my time to focus on form, breath, and intentional movement before progressing to Level 1.5 and eventually reaching Level 2 — a milestone I am incredibly proud of. Along the way, I didn’t just rebuild my strength; I discovered a deep passion for the practice itself.
That passion led me to become an instructor. I believe that teaching is just as much about listening and learning as it is about leading, and I am constantly inspired by the members I have the privilege of working alongside every class. The supportive, welcoming community at Club Pilates is something truly special, and it is a joy to be a part of it every day.
