Emily was drawn to Pilates after completing her yoga teacher training in 2023, when she began seeking a movement practice that addressed chronic pain and postural imbalances more deeply. With a background in engineering, she is naturally drawn to the “why” behind movement and heavily inspired by the way the human body works. She instantly fell in love with Pilates for its precise, anatomy-based approach to restoring balance and strength from the inside out. Emily is passionate about all things women’s health and is currently working toward her certification as a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist to better support pre and postnatal mothers. A fun fact about Emily is that she has spent over 500 days at sea working as an engineer on commercial and government vessels.
