Carolina
Instructor
Hi! My name is Carolina, and in Spanish, it’s pronounced kah-roh-LEE-nah [kaɾoˈlina]—but no
worries, I’ll answer to any version! 😄
I’m originally from Perú, but life and love brought me to Minnesota.
I truly believe movement brings happiness—not just because of the endorphins, but also the joy
of achieving new goals, improving physical skills, and feeling stronger every day.
I graduated with a degree in Business Administration in 2008 and spent about three years
working in offices. But honestly? My body and heart weren’t happy. I switched careers and
became a flight attendant, but the schedule wasn’t ideal, and I still felt out of my element. That’s
when I started my fitness journey.
Dance has always been one of my passions, so I became a Zumba instructor. It was fun and
came naturally to me, but I knew I wanted more for my body. In 2013, I took my first STOTT
Pilates certification in Mat, Reformer, and Barre. From that point on, I left Zumba behind and
dedicated myself to Barre and Pilates—and I’ve been teaching for almost 10 years now.
When I found Club Pilates, it was the perfect opportunity to complete my education and become
a fully certified instructor. Now, I’m in the final stages of that process, and I couldn’t be happier!
This career has brought so much health and joy into my life, and I’m excited to keep sharing that
with others.
I’ve taught classes in person, online, for corporations, at events, in private lessons—you name
it! And through it all, I realized that my biggest motivation for teaching is simple: I love making
people’s lives a little better with every class.
So, thanks for being part of my journey and motivation in life!
