Hannah Bates
Pilates Instructor
Hannah Bates comes to Pilates from a yoga background, originally curious about building deeper strength and stability. She quickly fell in love with the method, discovering how spring tension and light resistance created a new level of functional strength she could feel in everyday life.
Her teaching style is form-focused, pulsing, and playful, with classes centered around intentional, breath-connected movement and strong core engagement. Clients can expect steady, functional flows with thoughtful use of light props to deepen stability, control, and body awareness.
Hannah has completed 500 hours of Pilates Teacher Training, 200 hours of Yoga Teacher Training, and holds a Master’s in Public Affairs. Outside the studio, she stays busy balancing a full-time consulting career with her passion for writing as a children’s book author. When she’s not working, she loves spending time at the beach, traveling, and being outdoors with friends and family.
